🚫 No Manual Deletions
Once an invoice is transmitted to the buyer's portal, any manual alteration in your local system will create a compliance mismatch. Every change must be recorded through a formal digital correction document.
The Mandatory Workflow
1. Identify Mismatch
Use TallyPrime's e-invoicing dashboard to locate the error in value, quantity, or tax rate.
2. Raise Credit Note
Issue a formal Credit Note (or Debit Note) linked to the original invoice UUID.
3. Sync with FTA
Transmit the correction document via the ASP. Both documents will now exist in the 10-year audit trail.
Proactive Prevention
TallyPrime 7.0 includes **Pre-Sync Validation**. The system checks HS Codes, UOM, and TRN data *before* you transmit, reducing the need for credit notes by up to 95%.
